Our first Partner Spotlight is for the Portland Night Market! 🤩 The Portland Night Market showcases many unique businesses that call Portland home. Blending food, culture, music, drinks, and retail together for an adventurous evening in the Central Eastside. ✨
When asked why they wanted to participate in Portland Design Month, they said "From event design, the environments we inhabit to the clothes we wear, design helps build the framework of our lives. We're co-creating and designing the culture of Portland together and that is something worth celebrating."

Our first Design Month volunteer spotlight is for Derrick Lee (.small.corner.designs on Instagram), who created our "Share Your Ideas" post for Design Month. 🤩 Here is a little about Derrick:
✨ What type of design work do you do?
I specialize in branding and visual theme production, with a focus on projects that let me blend my illustrative skills and artistic vision. I have a passion for hands-on work—whether it's free-handing typography with ink-stained hands, painting lively patterns for digital conversion, or hunting for the ideal textures. My creative process thrives on exploring diverse approaches to crafting captivating visuals.
✨ Why are you volunteering for Design Month?
Design Month is a way to get our community of creatives buzzing and engaged. Being a part of creating conversation around innovation and ingenuity not only keeps us informed as creatives, it helps expose us to more and more voices with more and more perspectives.
