Finally have a day “off” after working 13 days in a row at the shop!

Finally getting around to editing the website and have a few store announcements regarding consignment:

- This week is the last week to bring in summer items. We are especially in need of excellent condition sandals in all sizes.

- We are PAUSING all consignment from 7/28 to 8/1. We need this break to prep for Fall. We cannot accept drop offs or make any exceptions. We will see you 8/2!

- Starting 8/2 we will begin accepting FALL and back-to-school items.

REMEMBER: consignment days are Tues-Sat from 10-4 and we accept up to 2 grocery sized bags or 1 bin per visit.

The annual Blueberry Pancake Breakfast is today from 8:30 to noon! 45 years of bringing community together in a sweet way!

Stress for me is a weight-packer. And sometimes there just isn’t anything you can do about it but accept it. I’m a minimalist with my closet. I probably have less clothing than anyone I know. I make it a habit not to keep anything I can’t currently wear. Ok maybe there are two dresses that I haven’t been able to part with for the last 15 years but that’s it I swear.

So these cuties that are normally so flattering and or just cute, are heading to the shop. Just a gentle reminder to embrace your current self and live in this moment. The past is gone and the future is unknown.

Maybe prime has it for the same price for a brief limited time. Hello sunshine! The 80’s and 90’s are here to stay and I’m not talking about fashion - although those trends are definitely still mixing into current fashion.

Love our city! Love the rainbows! Love is love and that’s a fact.

You know as an adult how you always say, “I need a vacation from my vacation”? Well this time I’m going to listen to myself.

I always make sure to get back to work right away, sometimes even the same day as my flight. All so I can make sure nothing gets behind and no one is inconvenienced. But I’m pooped and my kiddos miss me since they haven’t seen me since last Thursday morning.

So today will be DROP N RUN only. And I’m not going to feel guilty about it. Hopefully. I’ll pop in at some point today, maybe. But either way you’ll receive an email by then end of the day tomorrow letting you know I’ve gone through your items.

Took my 86yo Dad to see his cousin for her 90th birthday in Colorado. It was the sweetest little reunion! We don’t arrive back until midnight tonight so we will be CLOSED today, Monday the 24th.

Grateful that Juneteenth became an official holiday a few years ago and is recognized the way it should be. It’s never enough but at least it’s something.
