Yesterday was National Give Something Away Day. Our residents cleaned out their closets and brought their items to share, trade, or give away to each other. What was left over we will be donating. They had a blast! They have requested that we do this again.
We sure had an eruption of fun at Mt Saint Helens visitor center.
🎆 We hope you had a safe, relaxing and wonderful 4th of July celebration. We unfortunately are not allowed to have fireworks in our county. That does not mean that we did not create our own fun and shenanigans. The residents had a blast throwing poppers! 😆
We created some berry beautiful art. Used the different berries to make different colors. The of course we enjoyed a refreshing mix berry delight!
Do you have a best friend? A partner in all your shenanigans? Well, we have a few of those here. If you see one, then other one isn't far behind. These are just a few of the magical moments that we were able to capture between these bff's.
We would like to welcome Maya and Christine to our community! There are some many benefits to animal therapy. Most of all, it just brings joy to our residents!
Happy Independence Day to our residents, team members and their families! Let's celebrate freedom, fireworks, and fun! What are your favorite ways to spend the 4th of July?
Let's beat this heat with some snow cones! We have plenty of flavors to choose from. If you don't want a snow cone, how about an iced flavored pop?!
The residents sure have been enjoying the nicer weather and sitting outside on our covered patio. Also, we have a bird's nest that they have been able to sit and watch the birds come and go, feed their young, and very soon leave the nest. It has been wonderful how protective and supportive the residents have been with our bird family. We make sure that our bird feeders and full and they have plenty of water as well. This has been such an enriching experience for them.
🎀 Spirit Day today!💗

Big thank you to our neighborhood girl scouts for bringing in Jade starters that they planted and learned all about for one of their lessons. They walked around the community handing them out to our residents. The residents were very thankful and excited as they picked out which one that they wanted and read the care card.
The connections that our residents have built with each other are just beautiful. They help one another, teach one another, and they cheer each other on. They each have their own gift that they love to share... like playing the piano!
