Dr. Janice Joerges is a naturopathic doctor who specializes in homeopathy and works at Center for Integral Health in Lombard, Illinois and Thrive Holistic Medicine in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2019 she served as NMSA Chicago Chapter President and she currently accepts shadowing students at both offices. Dr. Joerges is an I-ACT certified colon hydrotherapist, retired La Leche League leader, and serves on the board of directors for the Illinois Homeopathic Medical Association. When she is not helping patients achieve their health goals she can be found making beautiful memories with her 4 children.

We are so excited to have Dr. Greg Yasuda joining us at our annual conference this year in Chicago to present on getting clear on craniosacral.
Greg Yasuda, ND, VNMI, is a 2003 graduate from Bastyr University. As a didactic and clinical faculty member there since 2008 and the Associate Dean of Academics from 2018-2021, he has placed a strong emphasis on holism, helping students and patients capitalize on their unique strengths in navigating their journeys toward health and healing. His areas of particular interest include physical medicine, philosophy and the role of belonging as a social determinant of health.

We’re thrilled to announce this annual competition that brings together students from various schools of naturopathic medicine. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build relationships, share knowledge, and get the public involved. We encourage all students to participate, regardless of their degree program or NMSA affiliation. The winning team will be rewarded with bragging rights and the coveted golden avocado trophy 🏆🥑

Naturopathic Medicine Week is one week away!! We are so excited to celebrate this incredible profession with you all and really spread the word about what we do.
We will be sharing more details this week about how to participate, how to earn points for your school, and community events for getting involved and connecting to your nearby chapter.
Each year teams from each school compete against each other at the AANP/NMSA conference to win the NMSA Cup! This is a multi-round trivia competition and one school walks away with bragging rights for the year.
Come cheer on your school during the NMSA Cup! The NMSA Cup challenges teams with a series of naturopathic and medical questions.

We are so excited to have Dr. Brian Keenan joining us at our annual conference this year in Chicago. He will be discussing the topic “Does Transforming Trauma with Naturopathic Medicine Work?”
Dr. Brian Keenan is an herbalist, naturopathic doctor, and acupuncturist. He spends his time synthesizing the worlds of science and energetic medicine for all audiences and experience levels. He currently practices in Maryland and is the education manager at Ayush Herbs Inc. He has also been adjunct faculty at Bastyr University and guest lectures regularly. When not studying the impacts of herbs on the body, mind, and spirit, he can be found in the woods simply enjoying with the plant world.

We are honored to have Dr. JoHannah Reilly joining us at our annual conference this year in Chicago to discuss “Old School Naturopathic Tools & Techniques”
Dr. JoHannah Reilly ND, LAc is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and licensed Acupuncturist. She received her BA in Religious Studies from the University of Colorado and her BS in Human Biology from Kansas Neuman College. JoHannah graduated as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in 1982 from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon, specializing in the study of acupuncture. She received her Diplomate of Acupuncture from the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists in 1989 and then became the 25th person to be registered to practice acupuncture in Montana, where she practiced for eight years. She has been practicing in Boulder, Colorado since 1990. JoHannah has taught at Naropa University in the B.A. Psychology Department, a class called Approaches to Healing. She was also responsible for starting their nutrition and anatomy classes.
JoHannah has a highly developed intuitive presence that she brings to her work and utilizes a broad range of natural approaches and therapeutic methods to help her patients achieve optimum health. These modalities include: homeopathy, nutrition, botanicals, acupuncture, Chinese medicine, counseling and naturopathic manipulation.
