Practical stuff is going to wait. Making progress in my studio if not in the rest of life. Figuring out how much weight push pins in the ceiling can hold and how many.

My favorite at Ellen George’s new exhibit, “These Small Gentle Shapes” at Nine Gallery, 122 NW 8th Avenue, Portland, OR. Soul Satisfying.

I have no idea who made her out of a few pieces of wood and some paint, but she keeps me company and inspires me every day with a new view of the world through her head. She’s anonymous and wise and a woman.
