Exciting news! Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac just announced a game-changing update that benefits both buyers and sellers in the real estate market. Here's what you need to know:
🔹Sellers have the option to cover the Buyer's Agent commission without it counting against contribution limits, offering more flexibility for sellers and a smoother process for buyers.
🔹Previously, there were concerns about first-time homebuyers hitting a 3% limit on seller contributions. But with this clarification, those worries are put to rest. Sellers can contribute up to 3% for closing costs while also covering the buyer's agent commission.
🔹In adherence to local common practices, if a seller or seller’s real estate agent continues to pay the buyer’s real estate agent commission, these amounts are not required to be counted towards the IPC limits for the transaction
🔹This update reflects a commitment to adaptability and responsiveness in the industry. As market conditions evolve, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac continue to evaluate and adjust their policies to best serve buyers, sellers, and agents alike.

Our Story
I take pride in ethical lending practices and values so strongly. My career started in the mortgage business 18 years ago when I moved here from Seattle, a few years after graduating from the University of Washington. I began as a Loan Processor, working my way in to a Junior Underwriting position by 2004. In 2006 I began working as a Loan Officer, which is the position I hold today. I truly enjoy what I do, working with a variety of clientele from first time homevbuyers to sophisticated property investors.
I am an active member of the Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce, volunteering additional time as a Chamber Ambassador. I am a current member of The Navy League, The Homebuilder’s Association, and the Poulsbo Middle School PTA and Poulsbo High School PTA. I am a former member of the Kingston Rotary with a Paul Harris Award that I am especially fond of.
I enjoy meeting new people, gardening, playing soccer, and spending time with my family. As the proud mother of two active teenage boys, I try to involve them in as many of my community activities as is possible, so that they may learn to give back to the community that they are growing up in from an early age. I feel very fortunate to live in Kitsap County and work for a reputable company like Evergreen Home Loans.
