Why Kraft House No. 5? When we started on this venture, we knew what our concept was going to be. We wanted everything hand crafted and made from scratch.
We wanted craft beers, and we wanted craft cocktails. Our kitchen is going to be a chef driven scratch kitchen. Food with integrity is what we will be known for. Why the "K" for Kraft? Why not?? As for the No.5? Besides being located at 5 S. Liberty St, this will be the 5th restaurant owned and operated by the Pappas family.

Can’t wait to see everyone at the Powell Street Market tomorrow!
’Twas the night before the Powell Street Market and
All through the town, vendors prepped with great care.
Lanterns were hung by the booths with delight,
Hoping the morning would bring a grand sight.
Crafters arranged wares, jewelers showed gems,
Bakers shared pastries, their sweet diadems.
Textiles and leathers adorned every stall.
Children dreamt of toys under the moon’s soft glow,
While food carts assembled, their spices in tow.
In beds, townsfolk dreamt of the day soon to come,
When Powell awakens, and the street market hums.

Our Story
Kraft House No. 5 is precisely as it presents itself, a home for craft seasonal food, cocktails and a dedicated staff to the name. Located in the heart of Powell, on the corner of Powell and Liberty Road, it specializes in providing an experience to consumers near or far.
Kraft House's interior will take you back to a more simple time. From the hand crafted amish wood tables, chairs and even bar top it leaves you with the sense you are dining in the comfort of a lodge and the coziness of a tavern. The eclectic restaurant offers an enrapturing view of the town from inside and out, as it is near encased in windows. The sixteen seater bar holds a view of an open kitchen, an array of bourbon, spirits and hand selected wines along a natural bark backdrop. The bar not only offers a great view but a perpetually changing twenty tap handle system that offers something for everyone.
This restaurant is dedicated to providing our consumers with the best experience for any occasion and have high hopes to make those experiences, last. We hope to see you all very soon to help spread the hospitality.
