Happy herd.🙏🏻
We hope everyone is having an amazing summer!!
We certainly don’t want to kill the vibe, but as fall approaches, we are preparing for shorter days. CTRC is looking for sand and arena lighting donations so we can keep things rocking when the seasons change. If you know anyone that has access to sand or posts, poles, powerful lights to keep playing when the sun goes down, please reach out!
All donations are 💯 and will help us to serve more of our community!

What a beautiful morning we enjoyed with our friends from Prairie Grove Schools!
Students groomed horses, painted, learned to lead through obstacles, made cookies for the horses, and had an excellent picnic lunch in the grass.
Can’t wait for next time.💜

Tell us it’s spring without telling us it’s spring...
The storms this week produced extremely high winds… We will be out tomorrow making some repairs to the roof again. Hopefully, for the last time for a while. Feel free to stop by and lend a hand.
All horses, cows, and humans are safe.🙏🏻💜

Tonight we spent time with the Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies class from the experiencing abstract learning fun in the arena. The sunset over the horses was a perfect ending to a great experience for all.🐎
Live from the scene! 🌈
Mondays are for crunching carrots in the shade at the round table… if you’re Lucky, that is.

Thank you to students for coming out and learning about how horses can be a part of so many types of healing. We hope to see you again! Abby enjoyed her time with you all so much.
You may think horses give kisses for fun, but what they’re doing is exchanging air from both nostrils (both sides) of the face... Recording details about your scent and interaction… they’ll remember that air share. How they remember it depends on what and how it is delivered. This particular moment lasted for about a minute. Switching back and fourth, collecting information, and maintaining soft and gentle movements… That’s pretty special.
When a 20 minute power nap is what ya really need...and your team has your back 👣
