Due to potentially unsafe driving conditions in the Prescott area we have decided to cancel school for Thursday 2/8/24.

Due to low temperatures and expected snow in the forecast for tonight, TCP is going to have a delayed start of 10:30 am for Thursday, February 8th. This will give us time to assess road conditions in the morning to see if a cancellation is in order.

Due to hazardous driving conditions, TCP will be closed today, Wednesday, February 7. Please stay safe and warm until we see you again!

Arizona Treasurer Kimberly Yee honored the 20 essay contest winners with $529 towards an AZ529 Education Savings Plan. The 5th and 6th grade winners represent district, charter, private, tribal and homeschools from all of Arizona’s 15 counties.

Congratulations Grace and our Volleyball team.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed meeting our scholarship recipients over the last week, and are impressed and encouraged by each of them as we hear of their goals and aspirations. We have no doubt they are destined for great things. Each student did an amazing job at creating something original and fun, all while promoting oral health. We are so excited for each of them and the adventures that lie ahead! Congratulations to Grace Watson and her club of choice Tri-City College Prep High School Volleyball.

Come one, come all - Please join us on campus this evening from 5:30 - 7:00 PM for an open house and orientation. It is important that students and parents or guardians attend the orientation to learn all about our academic program, social activities, clubs, honors societies, and sports at Tri-City College Prep. You will receive information on graduation, college entrance requirements and our college in high school dual enrollment program. You will also have the opportunity to tour the school, meet teachers and staff, and hear from current students as well as alumni.

Tri-City Prep High School, 5522 Side Road, Prescott is partnering with the Prescott Valley Police Department and the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety to host a mock car accident scene to showcase the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs. The event will be March 1st from 8:00AM to 12:00PM.

An assembly will take place at the school where survivors of fatal DUI crashes will tell their stories to the students. Local agencies including Prescott Valley Police Department, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Spectrum, and Mothers Against Drunk Drivers will be present for the assembly. Emergency vehicles may be present at the assembly.

This event is part of an ongoing commitment to educating our local youth about the dangers of impaired driving.

Update 3/2/23 -

In order to give more time for roads to be cleared, we are pushing back our start time to 11:15am with a release time of 3:15pm for both High School and Middle School.

Tonight, come by and even bring a few friends or family to grab a quick dinner, a refreshing drink, and/or something sweet while supporting your school. We hope to see you there! :)

To participate with Chipotle, from 5pm - 9pm, you can show one of the two provided flyers at the register, order online with the code GJ7FMCT on the Chipotle app or website, or mention to the cashier that you’d like to contribute to Tri-City’s fundraiser. We get 33% from each participating order, so be sure to use whichever method you prefer to have your order involved!

To participate with Jamba Juice or Cinnabon, from 4pm - 8pm, all you need is to say that you’re a part of this fundraiser at the register. Don’t forget, since 20% of all participating orders are contributed!
