Eli Holden is the Hyper Racing High Event Qualifier with the POWRi Jr Sprint League in the Eibach Racing Championship Night of the Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge presented by Start2Finish at Southern Illinois Raceway

Final night for Eli to race at Southern Illinois Raceway for the POWRi Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge.

In the junior, the lineup for the feature was set with points from Thursday and Friday, so Eli started on the pole. He fell to 2nd on the start, but he was right there with 1st the whole race. It was a fun race to watch. Eli finished 2nd.

In the restrictor, the lineup for the feature was set from points Thursday and Friday, so this put Eli starting 5th. He ran 3rd for a while, then 2nd, and he was right there with 1st and he finished 2nd. Another great race!

Eli also had his first football game today. He scored a touchdown, had a fumble recovery, and his team won! 🏈

Eli will start 5th for tomorrow night's restrictor feature

Eli will start on the pole for tomorrow night's junior sprint feature

POWRi JR Sprints -Wing - Feature Lineup at Southern Illinois Raceway for the Eibach Racing Championship Night of the Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge presented by Start2Finish

Eli raced tonight at Southern Illinois Raceway for the POWRi Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge Night #2.

In the junior, he was 2nd in qualifying. They invert the top 4, so he started 4th in his heat race. He finished 3rd. This put him starting 3rd in the feature. He made his way to 2nd quickly and was right there with 1st place. He finished 2nd. Way to go Eli! Top 3 went to tech.

In the restrictor, he was 2nd quick in qualifying. They invert the top 4, so this put him starting 4th in the his heat race. He finished 4th. This put him starting 7th in the feature. He had made his way up to 4th when a caution came out. Eli's motor shut off under the caution, so he had to go to the tail for stopping on the track. He finished 14th. Great run Eli!

In the junior, he set quicktime in qualifying. They invert the top 4, so he started 4th in his heat race. Eli was patient and passed for the lead with a couple laps and won. This put him with the most points, so he started on the pole for the feature. He parked it in victory lane!

In the restrictor, he was 3rd quick in qualifying. They invert the top 4, so this put him starting 3rd in his heat race. He finished 2nd. This put him 2nd in points, so he started 2nd in the feature. He took the lead early on and won!

Ready for 2 more nights of racing

Eli raced the Junior and Restricted Micro at US 24 Speedway in Logansport for the Carol Smith Memorial race.

In the junior, he started 4th in his heat race and finished 1st. This put him starting on the pole for the feature. In the feature, after a couple of laps, he hit the infield tire, causing him to land on the tire, so he had to go to the tail. He came from the tail to take the lead with a few laps left and won! What an exciting race. They teched the top 5 and all passed.

In the restrictor, he started 6th in his heat race, was going for 2nd, clipped the 1st place car when they got loose, so they sent Eli to the tail. He made his way back to 2nd on the last lap. This put him starting on the pole for the feature. He led every lap and won! They teched us and we passed.
