Check out this great article on Parents about todayβs release of a new kidsβ book β Clifford Takes A Ride β that makes learning fun by offering families essential safety tips for staying safe in and around cars. Published by Scholastic the new book is the centerpiece of a national safety campaign weβre launching with our partners at Mercedes-Benz. Over the next month, weβll distribute 30,000 free copies of the book to families across the country via Mercedes dealerships and Safe Kids Worldwide coalitions.
The launch event today at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, part of a four-stop book and safety tour, included a reading by former Atlanta Falcons quarterback and MBUSA brand ambassador Matt Ryan for more than 500 enthusiastic campers from the YMCA of Metro Atlanta. In addition, there was a special appearance by Clifford the Big Red Dog, and interactive safety education stations covering passenger, pedestrian, and bike safety, as well as bike rodeo, helmet fittings, games, prizes, and more.
