In May, local Holocaust Survivors attending our monthly Cafe Europa enjoyed a special, personal craft session led by our own Volunteer & Community Coordinator, Eden Aaronson. Survivors created and decorated "Brachah (Blessing) Boxes" that they can use to put a personal prayer in each morning, or any time of day, when they are in need of that moment of spiritual connection.

In May we recognize Older Americans Month. This year's theme is "Powered by Connection" recognizing the impact of relationships and social connections as we age. Our Kosher Cafe is an incredible example of this - where seniors are welcomed to gather for a hot lunch 4 days a week, every week. The friendships forged at the cafe give the guests a true sense of belonging.
