Our first Saturday grappling class was a success!

The neck soreness should only last the weekend, but the skills developed shall persist much longer. All who attended are now much better equipped to a next time they find themselves in a or situation!

Be on the look out for more intensive+detailed weekend classes in the future!

Come check out the WELLNESS EXPO at Prior Lake Highschool from 5-8PM tonight. We will be there, along with over 60 other vendors! This will be great for the whole family as there will be lots of FUN STUFF to see and do!

We lost the fight but gained the experience!

Brandon won the first round but went a bit too hard trying to go for the finish. His opponent weathered the storm and came back to win the 2nd + 3rd Round.

Learning to pace yourself and pick your moments is something that can only be TRULY understood from competing.

Brandon will come back much stronger from this experience!

Shoutout to our guys Christian, Mitchell, + Andrew who went out and competed this weekend!

It was Andrew + Christians 1st grappling tournament, and 2nd. All 3 of them took home some !!! 🏅 🥈 🥉

Christian went 3-3 and took home bronze in the white belt division

Mitchell went 1-1 and took home silver in white belt

Andrew went 2-2 and took home bronze in blue belt

Pretty good showing for how fresh these guys are!

Shoutout to our Muay Thai Fighters Brandon + Danny!

Brandon started the show off with A BANG winning his muay thai debut with a FIRST ROUND KNOCKOUT! He ended up winning the FINISH OF THE NIGHT AWARD for the muay thai portion of the event. A well VICTORY for Brandon 👏

Danny had a close first round and then got caught with a solid knee in the 2nd round, which turned into a TKO defeat.

All in all, it was awesome to see our boys compete. The coaches + fighters all learned things that we are doing well, and things we can improve on in training. Excited to see what comes next for our muay thai competitors!

NEW KID'S CLASSES AT LA BODEGA!

We have added 2 new kid's classes to the schedule:

1. Kid's Striking: Focuses on teaching kids the fundamentals of Kickboxing, covering proper techniques for punches, kicks, knees, and elbows. Through solo drills, partner exercises, and punching bags, students gain experience and have the opportunity to spar under supervision.

2. Kid's Jiu-Jitsu: Kids will learn the art of escaping, controlling, and eventually submitting an opponent using techniques from Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The curriculum not only builds strength and endurance but also emphasizes self-control and confidence.
