Hello Providence Tennis families and players!

Happy Holidays!

Today is our last junior group day (4:30-6:30pm) before the holiday break which runs December 23, 2023-January 1, 2024. I wanted to share with everyone that over the break my playing and Directing the USTA National Indoor Open Championships. The event will run December 27-30 at Tennis Rhode Island and Fore Court Club. There’s over 75 players coming into Providence for this prestigious event. It’s FREE admission and a great way to watch high level (semi-pro) tennis as well as meet the players.

To finish the year at Roger Williams Park the new club house will be coming in! This has been a 3 month process and I’m extremely excited to share the news! The current pro shop will get renovated as well and become a snack shack. This will give us help during our events and camps to be able to have food on site.

We are currently in the middle of Winter Session 2 and the new Court Reserve system has become a great asset! If you haven’t downloaded their APP please make sure to do so as it make everything much easier.

I wish everyone Happy Holidays and can’t wait to keep hitting my ACES in 2024!

JUNIOR GROUPS WILL BE HELD OUTDOORS THURSDAY (today) and FRIDAY (September22) at Providence Tennis Center at Roger Williams Park next to zoo to enjoy the sunshine and let all the kids experience the clay courts if they haven’t yet.

We are hosting a UTR tournament starting Friday at 4pm.

Wifi is available at the tennis center as well for those that need it.
