▶ Which academic or extracurricular achievement are you most proud of during business school?
"I served as co-president of the MBA Case Competition. We invited MBA students from across the country to share ideas on how we can strengthen the workplace through diversity and expressions of faith. We ended up hosting 16 MBA programs from across the country who represented diverse faiths.
I am most proud of this event because research shows that work satisfaction, happiness, and drive are affected by your ability to bring your whole self to work, including spirituality. From this event, I was able to see people from all walks of life find common ground and become friends. There’s a fundamental need for people to be understood. I think when you understand each other, you’re able to build a bond. And when you build a bond, you’re able to work better together."

The BYU Executive MBA students completed the Epic Learning Adventure in which included whitewater rafting, rappelling, mountain biking, canyoneering, and some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
And the moments before, after, and during these adventures were filled with world-class speakers, top-tier training, and moments for reflection on growth and goal-setting both personally and professionally. In a word, it was "epic."
We are inspired by the leadership and faithful service of our BYU MBA alumni Elder Christopher H. Kim (South Korea, Class of 1997) and Elder Sandino Roman (Mexico, Class of 2008) who were called to serve as General Authority Seventies in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints this weekend.
We are grateful for their examples of Christlike service and leadership. Many will be blessed by their talents and experience.

"Many MBA programs can teach me the knowledge and skills I needed to succeed, but Brigham Young University is about more than knowledge and skills.
I knew that BYU would stimulate a greater commitment to excellence and a more focused pursuit of my human potential. BYU is interested in me as whole person, not just my professional ability.
I chose the BYU Marriott School of Business because I wanted to be a better person, and in the process, I have been able to learn a thing or two about business."
