Don't miss your chance to listen to Tanner! He has a large repertoire featuring concertos by Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Grieg, Prokofiev, Mozart, and Chopin. Most recently he performed Mozart Concerto in C, K.467 with Sir Donald Runnicles. But he's not all work with no play. An avid mountain biker and outdoorsman, Tanner believes that time away from the instrument is best spent finding oneself in nature. 🏔️ 🚴🏼

👋🏼 Meet Caroline Jorden! 🔽
Did you know that this isn't the first time Caroline has performed with us?! Caroline Jorden, 22, is delighted to return to solo with the Utah Valley Symphony. She first soloed with us in 2020! Caroline began her violin journey at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School in Boston and has performed internationally as a featured soloist for the Ballet West Academy in Berlin, Germany (2018). Some of her hobbies include hiking, traveling, and watching videos of elephants. 🐘

🎵🎶 Meet 15 year old Asia Eyre! Asia has been studying harp for eight years with Julie Mitton Staples. She has played for the Utah Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra from 2018 to 2021.She is currently homeschooled and taking classes through Snow College to earn her associates degree. When not playing the harp Asia loves to 💃🏼 dance, do aerial silks, and read. 📚
Come see Asia, along with the other 5 Utah Valley concerto finalists, perform with the Utah Valley Symphony! This is the perfect concert to inspire the young musicians in your family, so be sure to bring them along. 🎫 Tickets at utahvalleysymphony.org

🎻 Colette Brunsdale LeMone (23) grew up in Highland, Utah. She began her studies on the viola at age 6 with Tracey Owens. During school she attended the Intermountain Suzuki Institute and participated in the Utah All State orchestras. Most notable was the incredible opportunity she had while playing with the BYU Philharmonic and collaborate with the legendary Itzhak Perlman, an experience that remains etched as the pinnacle of her musical career thus far.

👏 Introducing Isabelle Duersch! Isabelle is a 17 year old junior at Lone Peak High School. She began her violin journey at age 5, and by 13 decided that she wanted the violin to always be a part of her life. Isabelle attributes her love of music to her grandmother (who was also a Utah Valley Symphony Young Artist violin soloist decades ago) and to her teacher, Monte Belknap, who is a constant source of support and inspiration.

We are excited for our audiences to experience the amazing talent of our concert pianist, Sharalyn Heath. She will perform Rhapsody in Blue with the symphony on April 12 & 13 @7:30pm Center for the Arts. She has been an integral part of our music community for decades. In 2020 she was recognized as the Achievement in Music (AIM) Teacher of the Year for the Utah Music Teachers’ Association (UMTA). She has performed as soloist and/or regular member of many musical groups including Utah Metropolitan Ballet, Utah Valley Symphony, BYU Philharmonic, and many more. Derek Blodgett is currently studying music performance with Dr. Blanka Bednarz at the University of Utah. He is a member of the Utah Philharmonia and the Giving Bach Performing Arts Organization. Derek has placed first in the Utah Valley String Festival multiple years, is a winner of the Lyceum Concerto Competition, Utah Philharmonic Concerto Competition (senior division winner).
