A couple of months ago, we had a long conversation with Ernie’s owner, he was very skeptical and nervous about training but really needed help for his dog who was running low on chances. We remember Ernie’s owner telling us that Ernie might be the most aggressive dog we have ever trained. He drove from New York City, dropped Ernie off and spent that same night at a local hotel just in case we called to send Ernie home. Needless to say…. Ernie stayed and he completed his four weeks program. Our nearly 4-year-old hound pit mix, Ernie, had lost his way. After a traumatic experience during a walk, his confidence shattered, and he became overly protective, barking and lunging at people and other dogs. His fear turned into aggression, making our lives and his increasingly difficult. We reached a breaking point where we dreaded walking him and had to adjust our lives around his behavior, knowing full well that Ernie was just as miserable as we were.

From the initial call with Rachel, who spent 30 thorough minutes explaining their methods, to Brad’s detailed follow-up about Ernie’s specific needs, we knew we were in expert hands. We drove 5.5 hours from Manhattan with hope and trepidation, and within 10 minutes of dropping Ernie off, we received a message saying he was already doing great.

Throughout his 4-week stay, Brad kept us updated with Ernie’s progress. Each update showed not just improvement but genuine happiness in Ernie. When we picked him up, Brad patiently taught us how to maintain Ernie's newfound calmness and confidence. Today, Ernie rides the elevator, walks through the lobby, greets other dogs, and simply enjoys being a dog again. This experience has been life-changing.

Through the generosity of a wonderful person we were able to provide Bubba with a 4-week program aimed at helping him find a forever home. Bubba had difficulty trusting animals and people in the beginning, so we were so happy to receive this picture from his new family…it truly does say 1000 words. Thank you to everyone out there that believes in second chances🐾❤️🐾
