Freedom Rains Farm is an organic farm in Oswego County, growing for CSA members and their community Established 2013.
We are an Oswego County organic food grower, growing especially for our CSA and local community. Growing a wide variety of seasonal produce and offering free range egg CSA shares as well. A beautiful morning harvest. Listening to the birds stir in the trees as the sun rises over the tree line, picking tender dew soaked greens for tomorrow's market; that is my zen in the chaos of life.

Regional market customers, we will not be at the market tomorrow, as we'll be taking advantage of a nice dry stretch and extra hands to get tons of veggies planted for our market and CSA customers.
We'll be back next weekend with all sorts of delicious vegetables for your memorial day celebrations.

Just some of 2023's garlic harvest
The cool rainy days earlier this week made for the perfect weather to tackle some high tunnel chores. Finally got to trellising tomatoes and cucumbers and that was quite the task as they had gone wild in there! Looking forward to some delicious heirloom tomatoes sweet peppers and cukes and have already enjoyed the first eggplant for dinner Monday night.
Pictures are work in progress and finished along with eggplant and some of our furry farm friends.

Escarole, mustard greens, kale, lettuce, garlic scapes, spring onions, radishes, parsley, red bok choy, and strawberries from our neighbor's farm!
Enjoying a summer solstice harvest day with my favorite farm friend who's been busting her butt helping w**d onions as a work trade while Travis helps her husband and business partner Andrew on their Regenerative Property Management edible landscaping job. It's cooperation and friendship that makes these large tasks manageable when you run small labor intensive businesses like we do!
Also enjoying the intoxicating scent of the wild roses that border our fields on the south end.
