We love working with Gary Reeves from Pilot Safety. Gary, the Pink Shirt Guy, is a regular speaker at the Northwest Aviation Conference & Trade Show -- he speaks both SAT and SUN. Gary also helps us out each year with getting the Wings Credit accounted for for pilots.

NWAC and Puget Sound Soaring will offer sailplane workshops both FEB 24/25, SAT and SUN at the 2024 Conference. These events are free to attend with $10 event admission.; The workshops require no preregistration.

This year every gathering space is filled for every hour of the event hosting aviation topics from airplane maintenance to donning a life jacket in an over water ditch. We are especially honored to welcome back our keynote speaker, aviation legend and humorist, Rod Machado. It’s been a few years since Rod joined us in Puyallup but he is a perennial favorite for all generations of attendees. Rod will be speaking both Saturday and Sunday.

Historical Presentation: Flying to the Extremes in Canada’s North
SAT, FEB 25, 3:30 PM Keynote Stage

Dominique Prinet has had nothing less of an extraordinary life. His book, Flying to Extremes, shares his adventures as a bush pilot during the ’60s and ’70s in Northern Canada. Prinet worked as a commercial bush pilot in the Canadian Arctic and High Arctic, at a time when radio beacons were the exception and long before the GPS had been invented. He later served as the Marketing VP for Nordair in Montréal and Canadian Airlines.

Prinet is a 2023 keynote speaker both SAT and SUN at the Northwest Aviation Conference & Trade Show; he will have books signed and available for purchase at Spencer Aircraft's booths 825-827.
