Why is it important to know what products my lash artist uses ?
Let's dive into the importance of a good quality lash glue. Lash adhesives are primarily made from an ingredient called cyanoacrylate along with small amounts of other chemical additives and dyes most common being carbon black. Cyanoacrylate lash glue is a popular adhesive used for attaching false eyelashes. It's made from cyanoacrylate, a quick-setting and strong adhesive that works through a reaction with moisture. When the glue is applied, it reacts with the moisture in the air and on the skin, causing it to harden and create a firm bond almost instantly. This reaction is known as polymerization, where the liquid glue transforms into a solid state, securing the lashes in place.

The quality of the lash glue is crucial for several reasons. High-quality products ensure a stronger, more reliable bond that can comfortably last the duration it is intended for without causing irritation. They often contain purer forms of cyanoacrylate, which reduce the risk of allergic reactions and are safer for sensitive skin around the eyes. Lower quality glues may not only fail to hold the lashes effectively, risking them falling off prematurely, but they can also contain impurities or harsh chemicals that increase the likelihood of irritation or damage to the natural lashes. ✨How to prepare for and what to expect from your Lash Appointment✨

The idea of Getting Lash Extensions for the first time can be daunting. SO many questions arise like Am I a candidate? am I allergic? Is my eye shape suitable for lash extensions ? and so much more. All of this will be addressed when you arrive at your appointment . When you arrive I will have you fill out a questionnaire and a few forms for the procedure. Then we will asses your preferences and lifestyle and eye shape. If we decide lashes are not for you we can do a lash lift or other service instead. Everyone has options! So what do you need to do and what should you bring to be prepared for this appointment ?

⭐️1.) Research different lash looks and save the ones that catch your eye and we can discuss if this would be a good fit for you. Some eye shapes differ so a photo may not match how a style would appear on someone else.

⭐️2.) Come clean and bare faced no makeup, skincare, or false lashes. If you do not have time before your appointment or are coming from work with makeup I will cleanse your eyes for you with a fee and this does take away from the time I have available to make your lash extensions the fullest they can be.

⭐️3.)wear comfy clothes and feel free to bring a blanket .This is your time to relax and get comfortable .Shoes are also optional in our space.

⭐️4.)Be prepared to have great conversation relax and to feel right at home with my full attention on you and only you! I am in my own private suite and no other clients are taken in the space this time is all for YOU and everything we say stays in the lash room. I look forward to your company and energy at your next appointment ❤️

Hey everyone ! My husband has started a job that changes our childcare situation . From now on I am not able to work Monday -Wednesday at all . My hours are Thursday & Friday 7-5, Saturday and Sunday 8-6 . This was the second week of this change and I know everyone is used to me being so flexible with coming before and after hours but I cannot do so anymore .
