Call to Artists!

Calling all Wisconsin-based painters! Artists 18 years or older residing in or maintaining a residence in Wisconsin can now submit one to two works in aqueous media to be considered for Watercolor Wisconsin 2024, opening at RAM's Wustum Museum of Fine Arts on Wednesday, December 11. Submit digital entries on the RAM website or ship works to RAM by 4:00 pm on September 30, or drop off works in person at RAM's Wustum Museum on October 4 and 5, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

1 week ago we put on tje Starving Artist Fair and Jayne our Coordintor is one of the Reasons for our sucess. It was Hot but so well done.
Shout outs to our fearless leader Sue who makes sure we get the property set up at 6am and taken down at 5pm++,
and to Lisa for the creative display and organizing of the RAG Rafle Booth.

Going to the Starving Artist Fair this Sunday the 4th? Do you have a sweet tooth? If you do, Stop by the Pastry4U booth. Very Yummy.

The Starving Artist Fair serves good food. Join us Sunday August 4th. Try the Gourmet Tacos. Many are Gluten free.

New to the Racine Starving Artist Fair is Jennifer Wutt-Jennifer is a Singer -songwriter and will be playing at the West music tent w/violinist Nick Compolo from 2-3pm. Join us at The Racine Starving Artists Fair August 4th which on the grounds of the Dekoven Center 21st & Wisconsin Ave.

This year there are more Artists, more Food, more Music, and no charge to enter. Free shuttle bus from the Gateway parking lot all day. Free neighborhood shuttle. Free kidz Korner. Yay! See you August 4th on the Grounds of the historic Dekoven Center.

Art Guild Member Patti Fallon will be in a Spectrum 2D & 3D show July 6 - 28th. Saturday is the Artist's Reception and Sunday is her day to open the gallery.

Alex Gonzalez - of UW-Parkside who graduated from Case High School
Geneva Hebron - who attends MIAD and graduated from Union Grove High School
Marlie-Madison Hansen - who attends MIAD and graduated from Burlington High School

Each of these students has earned $1000 and an honorary membership to the Racine Art Guild.

Alex Gonzalez was also awarded the Lyle Peters' Scholarship and given an additional $250.
