Hey Folks, just a correction for yesterday. There was a mistake on the post saying the saddle demo was the 24th. It is actually Friday the 23rd. We apologize for the mistake. And the post has been edited to correct it. Thank you for your understanding.

We will be hosting a saddle demo on August Friday 23rd. The saddles and equipment we will have will be from Cruzr, Latitude, and Tethrd. If you wanted a chance to learn and try out saddle hunting or just try out a different saddle, platform, or stick this would be a great opportunity. Stay tuned for more information!

Hey Folks! Just letting everyone know we will be closed from Thursday July 4th - Sunday July 7th. We will be open again with normal hours Monday July 8th. Happy 4th of July!

Just a final reminder for the Kettle Moraine Field Archery League (KMFAL) 3D and 600 Shoot tomorrow (June 29th) hosted here at Root River Archery. These are 2 separate shoots both on the same day.

Range will be open for sighting in and practice at 8 AM.
The 3D shoot will begin at 9 AM. 20 3D targets will be set on line from 10 – 55 yds. Archers will shoot 2 arrows per target from 2 firing lines, one from a close line and one from longer distance. 3D scoring will be 11/10/8/5.
The Classic 600 begins at 11 AM. Archers will shoot 4 ends of 5 arrows at 40 yds, 50 yds, and 60 yds for a total of 60 arrows. Ends will be scored on 92 cm multicolor single spot targets with center rings counting as 11.
Pricing for Adults will be $15, Youth shooters are $10, and Cubs are $5. Pre-registration is preferred; however, walk-ons will be welcome.

Hey folks! Just a final reminder that the 16th Annual 3D Classic Shoot will be this weekend! The shoot will be held at Racine Instinctive Bowmen, Inc. from 8AM to 3PM tomorrow, June 1st and Sunday, June 2nd.

Breakfast will be available from 7AM up until 10AM, then we’ll switch to serving Lunch from 11AM – 2PM.

Registration for the courses will start at 8AM and run through the day until 3PM.
There will be a money shoot on Saturday at 2PM. Registration for the money shoot closes at 9AM.
Rules and details for the money shoot are available in our previous post, and will be provided at the shoot.

Our hunting saddle demo will run from 10AM to 3PM Sunday. Staff will be available to assist if needed.

We’ll also be doing hourly door prize drawings on both days!

Long-range and Platform novelty shoots will be available both Saturday and Sunday. Test your skills for a chance to win some excellent prizes!

There will be a money shoot on Saturday at 2PM. Registration for the money shoot closes at 9AM. We will also have a hunting saddle demo from 10AM to 3PM Sunday. We would love to see you there. Golden Arrow Bowhunters is holding their Open Championship this Saturday, March 2nd and Bowhunter Championship this Sunday, March 3rd. We want to wish everyone participating good luck and shoot straight!

The Root River Archery team had a great time at the WAA State indoor archery tournament this past weekend in LaCrosse WI. We had three podium finishes including a new state record and first place finish by Gabrielle! Great shooting this past weekend by everyone!

The new permanent sign for the shop has been installed out front by Michael's Signs. Now it will be easier then ever to spot us from the road even at night.
