ππ Huge congratulations to Amelia Hansing '22! ππ
Amelia recently made waves at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, representing her award-winning short film created with her talented team from Wisconsin. π¬β¨ After soaking in valuable insights at a film business panel, Amelia and her mom, Krista, had an unforgettable time attending a few star-studded premieres. (Yes, you read that rightβGreta Gerwig, Cate Blanchett, and Sebastian Stan! π±)
The highlight? Amelia and Krista got to walk the red carpet themselves to watch the premiere of an exciting Korean action film. We're incredibly proud of Amelia and can't wait to see where her cinematic journey takes her next! ππ₯π

Reuniting memories at RLHS!
Members from the Class of '55 continue to meet monthly for breakfast. In May, the alumni returned to RLHS for their gathering. From savoring a delicious breakfast crafted by our amazing kitchen team to sharing tales with Executive Director David Burgess and Development/Alumni Relations Director Krista Long, the morning was filled with cherished moments.
Some from the group hadn't stepped foot in these halls for nearly 70 years! As they strolled through the familiar corridors, reminiscing about their high school adventures, the old and new buildings served as a backdrop to their shared memories.
If you and your fellow classmates are yearning for a trip down memory lane, reach out to Krista Long at [email protected]. Come witness the changes over the years while experiencing the enduring spirit of RLHS's mission and values. Let's create more unforgettable moments together! ππ

RACINE LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL RECEIVES NATIONAL ACCREDITATION! After months of dedicated effort from our faculty and staff, RLHS has successfully navigated the accreditation process through National Lutheran Schools Accreditation. Accreditation decisions hinge upon a school's adherence to national standards tailored for Lutheran educational institutions, embodying the core qualities expected of Lutheran schools. Achieving accreditation in good standing with NLSA demands full compliance with 30 essential indicators of success.
Every aspect of our institution has undergone rigorous evaluation and measurements, culminating in affirmation of our mission and ministry. While our conviction in the excellence of our school has long been echoed by the enthusiasm of our students, the satisfaction of parents, and the loyalty of alumni over our 80-year history, it's particularly gratifying to have our accomplishments officially recognized by the synod.
