Have you ever wondered what the patch of plants is around the dropboxes outside the library? That’s our pollinator patch! This patch of native plants helps feed birds, bees and butterflies, helps rainwater absorb back into the soil, and makes our local environment a little bit more sustainable. If you’d like to help us maintain it or learn how to start your own, watch our calendar for our Friday, June 21 gardening day at RacineLibrary.info/calendar.
