Last week Notre Dame hosted The Race Institute for K-12 Educators! For three days, local educators took part in workshops so they can better support the “positive racial identity development of students.” Every institute includes a panel of local high school students willing to share their experiences with race in school. ND teachers Ms. Katie Bellopede, Ms. Rosanna Fox, and Dr. Norma DaCrema took part and we cannot wait to implement their ideas!

The Live Like Leah 5k is back for the 3rd annual memorial race in Wayne on August 18. Join ND faculty, staff, students, and alums in the race or walk to honor Leah Bowers, a beloved member of the ND community who passed away in January of 2022. Sign up via the link below. All proceeds benefit the Capernaum Camp, a branch of the Young Life Ministry for individuals with special needs, a cause very close to Leah’s heart.

Congrats to Kiersten Bodge ‘27 on both her win at the Overbrook Women’s Club Championship as well as her American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Junior All-Star Tournament win!👏

Both our field hockey and lacrosse camps wrapped up this month and our Middle School Leadership Camp spent a week hearing from guest speakers, such as Rosemary Connors of NBC10 Philadelphia, rock climbing, and learning self-defense. Today, we hosted a session of our CPR camp!
