Rebecca brings experience in science communication and program coordination, as well as a personal connection to North Carolina as she works to enhance our programs and expand our reach across the state.

NASA Langley Welcomes NC Space Education Ambassadors 08/22/2024

In June 2024, NC Space Education Ambassadors from Crew 4 and earlier crews visited NASA Langley Research Center, connecting classroom learning with NASA research! Highlights include Earth and cloud science workshops, tours of the wind tunnel, and visits to research facilities like the Makerspace Lab.

NASA Langley Welcomes NC Space Education Ambassadors In June 2024, NC Space Education Ambassadors (NCSEA) from Crew 4 wrapped up a year of NASA mission-based professional development with a special trip to NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. Several NCSEA from Crews 1-3 also participated.

The NASA Accessibility Workshop has lifted off at NASA JSC, fueled by ND, NC, and SC Space Grants and Space Center Houston! This dynamic workshop is dedicated to crafting inclusive space education experiences that unlock the potential for all learners. Educators will explore cutting-edge accessibility strategies and enjoy exclusive JSC facility tours. Eight dedicated educators from Wilson, Edgecombe, Forsyth, Wake, and Cumberland Counties, along with the Eastern NC School for the Deaf, are in attendance and represent NCSG’s commitment to empowering diverse learners.
