If you're interested in practicing your driving with a professional instructor, our adult lessons would be a great idea! We offer different packages of 2-hour lessons to choose from. If you haven't driven much, have been out of the country, or just want some help with driving, our adult lessons would be helpful in giving you the confidence to get back on the road.

To answer a few questions about registering your child for our drivers' education teen course:

1. Once you register online at carolinaroaddriving.com, our scheduler will call you back to provide the class dates and times available and get your child signed up. We offer Saturday classes, weekly classes after school, summer classes, and classes over long holiday breaks.
2. A week before the class starts, you will receive an email with more detailed information.
3. Once your child completes the classroom portion (30 hours total), they must get their eyes checked before driving behind-the-wheel. We offer this service at both of our offices, or you can have their eyes checked at the DMV. We will provide the eye form for them.
4. After completing the classroom portion and passing their eye exam, they can get started behind-the-wheel! They need 6 hours of driving with one of our qualified instructors. They can be driven a few weeks after completing the course.

If you're an adult with a North Carolina driving permit and want driving practice to get your license, we offer adult lessons just for you! You can register for behind-the-wheel sessions on our website at carolinaroaddriving.com or by calling our office at (919)208-2922.

If in-person drivers Ed classes don’t work for you or your child’s schedule, we also offer virtual classroom options! You can register normally at our website, carolinaroaddriving.com, and when our scheduler calls you to pick a class date, you can choose to complete the classroom portion online!

Note that if you complete the classroom portion virtually, you still MUST complete the 6 hours behind-the-wheel with one of our instructors.

Registration is open now for our in-person Drivers Ed class taught at our Greenville and Raleigh locations over Christmas break! There is also a virtual class over Christmas break.

We are aware that the COVID-19 pandemic has slowed the completion of drivers education for many student drivers. To accommodate the students who couldn’t complete their drivers education due to limited classroom seats or safety precautions, Carolina Road Driving School has taught courses online throughout the pandemic.

We are still continuing our online class, and have also resumed our in-person courses. For the students who complete the classroom portion online, they will still have to complete the driving portion in-person with one of our instructors.
