Each year, 500+ K-12 schools representing over 12,000 students and 65 counties in North Carolina participate in NCSO activities.
North Carolina Science Olympiad (NCSO) is a NC State University program with a mission to attract and retain the pool of K-12 students entering science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) degrees and careers in North Carolina.
