"COMING FULL CIRCLE"

Hello City of Oaks Family! Please be patient as I will try to share this story without it turning into a novel. This precious family was another first for my life as a midwife. This is the first “second generation patient” for me. Let me to explain. I had my first labor nurse job in a small town hospital which is where I met Karla. I was present for both her first (Eli) as well as when Camryn (the patient below) This was 24… or was it 25 years ago. It has been such an honor to be present for another birth...the beginning of the next generation of this family. I can’t lie I was quite emotional as Camryn labored and ultimately gave birth to her beautiful baby boy! This just reinforces the bonds we make with families. Each family that we have cared for has written their story on our hearts! Thank you so very much!

The Love of a Mother

A Mother’s way of Loving is something out of the ordinary, 
It is patient and kind, and goes through much sacrifice and pain.

This type of Love is unrelentlessly everlasting, 
and never fails when you need it, even when barely asking. 

This type of Love is a wave of Mother Nature that cheers and pushes you all the way, 
And it is so much so, that it is hard for this love to repay. 

A Mother’s way of Loving is unselfish, beautiful, miraculous, and fierce, 
It glows like the rays of the sun, and too strong to pierce.

God definitely knew what beautiful creation he was accomplishing when he created you.
