Our Charlotte properties celebrated the start of the games with donut rings, capturing the essence of the quest for gold! Customers felt part of the action while watching the games on Bank of America Tower's thirty-six-foot tall screen. Others enjoyed a competitive game of Pop-A-Shot. It was a fantastic day in Charlotte as our customers carried on the excitement for Team USA.

Our Tampa team gave our customers the best break from the day with the Dog Days of Summer event! It was an afternoon of popsicles, hot dogs, and fun with adorable puppies from Mercy Full Projects. Putting our customers first allows us to create memorable experiences and foster great connections. Looking forward to more events like this!

Our Atlanta team proudly partners with Home For Our Troops, a nonprofit that builds homes for severely injured soldiers. Since 2008, Highwoods has been a dedicated corporate sponsor, actively participating in constructing homes for military veterans.

One such hero is Staff Sergeant Dan Lister, who was injured by an IED while on duty in Afghanistan in June 2010. Through our collaboration with Homes For Our Troops, SSG Lister and his family received a specially adapted custom home in Georgia. This home, featuring an open layout, aims to provide him with the daily independence he deserves. We deeply honor and appreciate the service and sacrifices of our troops, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support them through this impactful partnership.

What an incredible month it's been in Atlanta! Our customers have enjoyed a series of events, including Popcorn Palooza at Riverwood, Whiskey Tasting at Glenlake and the Buckhead Collection Ice Cream Social. These experiences have not only been fun but have also brought our customers together as we kickoff summer.

Narrative Coffee has arrived at GlenLake in Raleigh, bringing great energy and even better coffee to the workplace. Additionally, we're excited to introduce a rotation of food trucks at GlenLake, offering a variety of culinary options. It's a fantastic time to be at GlenLake!

Farm Fresh Carolinas made their debut at our Bank of America Tower in Charlotte, bringing the farm-to-desk experience right to the workplace. Our Raleigh team was abuzz with energy this past month, partnering with 321 Coffee to provide an inclusive, gourmet coffee cart experience for our Customers.

321 Coffee is a coffee shop built on inclusion, employing 50+ adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to roast their coffee, take customer orders, even make and serve orders.

Needless to say, we could get used to starting our day this way!

This March, we're honored to spotlight Heather Lamb , Senior Vice President and Atlanta Market Leader at Highwoods. Our Highwoods Atlanta team has had an eventful February so far, filled with excitement and celebration! We kicked off last week with a vibrant Mardi Gras event, where we treated our customers to King Cakes, coffee, live jazz music and photo ops. We continued the celebrations for Valentine’s Day with sweet treats and a Kendra Scott Pop-up shop, giving our customers the opportunity to shop for Valentine’s Day right from the lobby!
