While taking pictures of these first beach pendants, Julian, my 10 yo, insisted we should use a few of our found treasures from our last beach trip in the styling, so he picked them out and propped them up.

He absolutely nailed it! 🐚 🌊

I can’t get over how much I love them. I’m SO proud of how they came out and how my vision came to life.

They are each so unique and so reflective of how a beach view changes every second.

Friends that see them in person keep freaking over them. SUCH a confidence boost 🥰.

This may be my favorite shop update so far this year, these pieces make me SO HAPPY, and i’m so proud to share them with you! They may be the perfect pops of color you need this summer.

Heads up! Sadly I am closing out the Whimsy collection! Both Whimsy Drops and Abacus styles are going to get phased out, and will not return!

I do love them so much, but I’m trying to make my collections more cohesive, and the Whimsie are the outliers.

I am currently battling a weird camera issue that’s driving me CRAZY, and is delaying the listing process- but once I’m happy with all their glamour shots, I’ll launch the sale.

I made a fresh batch of Batiks right before Artsplosure, and I am smitten with every single one of them. For the first time I also made a pendant to go with every set of earrings.

It’s another lovely day for ! I’m super happy with my display this weekend. I finally implemented a whole slew of updates I’ve been intending to make for years, and I think it looks so good! I’ve gotten so many compliments on how bright, colorful and happy my booth is, which makes me so so happy 🥰

I’ll be taking off for a week of beach, sunshine and palm trees to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary with my love, BUT before I go, I have a fun make-and-take planned for the May First Friday! It will be a textured cuff with your words stamped on the inside, and YES you will make them from scratch!

Also you’ll be able to bring in ANY of your broken jewelry you’ve been meaning to get fixed.

All with an eye on Mother’s Day, but also great for many other reasons.

Hey all! I just realized how 2024 marks a whole pile of milestones for me professionally and personally!

But first I wanted to mention that I ran the numbers earlier this month, and I was overwhelmed and super happy to learn that despite many, many small and handmade businesses reporting having an incredibly difficult year in sales, my expenses increasing a bunch thanks to moving back into a studio space late 2022, and paying two part time assistants for the entire year in 2023, my profits still managed to grow! It was a tiny bit of growth 🌱, but it was still growth when I had every legitimate excuse for a loss!

And I can 100% thank you for your support. Whether you buy from me wholesale, retail, or whether your support is word of mouth or engaging with me here on the online- I simply wouldn’t be in business without you. So thank you!

Now back to the milestones. I don’t know if you noticed above how I glanced over the accidentally skipped anniversary of me being back in my favorite studio for a year! Last December marked a year of me back in my happy place, and I can honestly say I have enjoyed and soaked up every moment of it. I feel so privileged to be back in this spot, so I wanted to take a moment to recognize that.

Having said that, 2024 marks me being in business for 20 years! I think the official birthday will be in March or April, I’ll have to look it up- but WHOA! I’m still thinking of a special way to celebrate- please send any suggestions my way- this is not my strong suit, I’m a terrible planner when it comes to events.

Also, I’ll be married 10 years this year, my oldest turns 21 this year, and my youngest turns double digits, this year (yes, do the math 😂). It’s going to to be the year of ALL THE MOMENTS!

Look for some fun quarterly events this year to mark the 20 year anniversary; such as First Fridays with Friends at the studio (lmk if you want to join/vend at some) some fun online sales, and possibly some classes 😬 (did I just say that out loud?!)

After a year+ of spending my usual “reading time” bingeing (true crime) documentaries or podcasts instead, I am once again bitten by the book bug, and have set lofty goals for my reading this years.

I am both starting new books & finishing ones still on my “currently reading” list. Tell me I’m not the only one consuming 4-5 books at the same time?

I “read” them in all forms- audio, digital, rental, owned & physical, which explains a lot oh my multiple book reading habit.

My favorite is a physical book, though I hardly ever own one, as I never re-read and I don’t like them collecting dust on shelves. But I do have a goal of buying more books at local book shops, as they are the salt of the earth. I can always share them after finishing them so that everybody wins.

I consume all formats the library has to offer, and resort to audible when there’s a book I can’t get my hands on fast enough at the library.
