The FHFA just announced the new baseline conforming loan limit on conventional loan for 2022.

Back in September, several nonbank mortgage lenders announced they would increase conforming loan limits to $620,000 for many U.S. counties, which was a sign that the FHFA would be increasing loan limits to keep up with the increase in home prices in 2021.

With the new conforming loan limits set to $647,200 this means many homebuyers can now buy a home with 3.5% down!!

Also the new conforming loan limit for high balance areas have increased as well.
