The primary mission of START HEALING is two-fold; first to provide support throughout treatment and recovery auxiliary to those with cancer, cancer survivors, caregivers and/or their families and second to support emotional healing through art and creative expression for those living with stresses due to cancer.

Congratulations to SHF’s CFO, Ciara Lourenco, on her 6th year as a cancer survivor!
In 2015, Ms. Lourenco was diagnosed with a rare form of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She received treatment and has been in survivorship mode since 2016.
We wish Ciara continued good health and success.
