Job Description
Title: Counter Employee
Reports to: Restaurant Manager

Summary of Position:
You will be expected to assist customers with the ordering and purchasing of their food orders. You will take their order accurately, either in person or over the phone, and have enough knowledge of our menu to assist customers in making their food choices. You will be expected to charge customers accurately and consistently when using the register.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ring up customers for their orders in a helpful, friendly manner. Your drawer will be counted at the beginning and end of your shift to ensure that you are giving customers the proper amounts of change. Employees whose drawers are consistently incorrect at the end of their shift will have their cashiering responsibilities revoked, and overall employment reviewed.
Bag the orders for takeout and delivery, making sure to include all utensils and dressings.
If a customer is dining in, you will bring the food to their table with utensils and napkins and make sure that they receive all parts of their order.
When not taking orders, the employee will be responsible for the general stocking of the restaurant. This includes dressings, smoothie pre-mades, the soda fridge and any bagging areas.
Employees must also be checking on the general upkeep of the restaurant throughout their shift. This includes cleaning the café periodically, wiping any counters or tables that may need it, and checking trashes to avoid overflow.

Schedule may be consistent or change on a weekly basis depending on your availability. We are very willing to work the schedule around everyone’s lives and necessities as long as we are given notice in a timely fashion.
Hours of Operation: Monday to Thursday 8 AM to 11 PM, Friday 8 AM till 3 AM, Saturday 9 AM till 3 AM

Job Title
Delivery Driver
Shifts are usually but not limited too: Open till 5PM, 5PM till Close
Hourly Rate: $5 plus $1 per delivery plus tips, current drivers make an average anywhere from $11 to $20 per hour.

Job Summary
Main focus is delivering food orders from restaurant to customer whether it be at either job, home or event on time and collecting payment in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Catering orders may be included. Delivery drivers are a very important part of our restaurant as you are an extension, representative of our high standards out on the road.

Requirements
- Be 18 years of age.
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
- Possess suitable communications skills to create a positive interaction experience with our customers.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Have use of a properly maintained, licensed, and street-legal vehicle capable of driving up to two-hundred miles per day
- Maintain minimal or higher insurance coverage as mandated by state law.
- Maintain an acceptable driving record as stipulated by company policy or insurance carrier.
- Be capable of reading a map and interpreting written directions.
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and make change.
- Smartphone with GPS and able to download our delivery service app
- Be able to work in a sitting while driving, standing, and walking position with frequent changes between positions.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Daily Tasks May Include
- Delivering orders in a timely fashion (30-45 minutes from time order has been placed) to residential and commercial locations
- Learn the names and personally recognize our regulars
- Cross-training for other positions as needed such as phone order taker, and order preparation, helping out taking orders when counter workers are too busy while in-store
- Record completed delivery orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register or POS system.
- Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable).
- Clean and maintain equipment and work area associated with the job function.
- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to restaurant manager.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
- Be able to prioritize best routing for more than one delivery at a time.
During Down Time
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of product and supplies as stipulated in the shift duties.
- Restocking drink fridge
- Refilling Pickle Bucket
- Refilling Ice Machine
- Disassembling cardboard boxes and throwing them out in dumpster
- Distributing flyers, door hangers
- Occasionally making a run to supermarket for food supplies.
- Sweeping and mopping the dining area at end of shift.
