Young Democrats of Shasta County exists to connect, inform, organize, and empower Democrats ages 18-35 who live or work in Shasta County.
Tomorrow is ADEM (Assembly District Election Meeting)!
When: Sunday Jan 13th, Doors open at 12:30 pm, Candidate speeches at 1 pm, voting from 1:30-3:30 pm
Where: 900 Locust St, Redding
What: At this meeting is to elect your representatives to the California Democratic Convention which steers the California Democratic Party. We elect 7 female self-identified people and 7 other than female self-identified people as delegates. There are 27 candidates and many who are local. This is your chance to have an impact on the direction of our state party.
We are organizing a Young Democrats table for the annual Founders Dinner Fundraiser for the Democratic Central Committee of Shasta County. Anyone interested in joining us? Send us a message and we can sell you a ticket!
When: Saturday Sept 29th, Mingling: 5:30-6:30, Dinner 7:00
Where: Eagle Room at Win-River Resort and Casino 2100 Redding Rancheria Road
What: Buffet dinner, local candidate speakers, raffle, dessert dash, meet your local progressive community
Cost: $50 per ticket (because it is a fundraiser, funds will go to support local Dem candidates and local organizing)

What a great turnout at the Families Together Rally and March held on Saturday at Redding City Hall! Can't wait to see all the more we will accomplish as more of us come out and organize.
June 30 was a national day of marches and demonstrations concerning immigrants and federal child separation policies. Redding participated with a march down Cypress Avenue from City Hall.
