Definition of Moderation:
Attention to balance in one’s life.

Prayer for Moderation:
Dear Jesus, help me keep balance in my life, using created things properly and in the right amount that is best for me. I need Your help to set limits for myself in doing things that I enjoy. Amen.

Definition of Docility:
Willingness to learn from other people; receptivity and flexibility.

Prayer for Docility:
Dear Jesus, You are my teacher in every situation. Before acting on important matters, please give me the humility to seek Your wisdom and the wisdom of others, in order to make the best decision. Amen.

Definition of Honesty:
Sincerity, openness, and truthfulness in one's words and actions.

Prayer for Honesty:
Dear Jesus, You said, “I am the Truth” (John 14:6). You have made me for Truth, because You have made me for Yourself. Help me to be honest in all that I say and do, that I might know true happiness in You. Amen.

Father in Heaven,
All creation rightly gives you praise, for all life and holiness come from you. In the plan of your wisdom, she who bore the Christ in her womb was raised body and soul in glory to be with Him in Heaven. May we follow her example in reflecting Your holiness and join in her hymn of endless love and praise. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Saturday, August 10, starting at 7am we will be hard at work getting our campus ready for the start of another year. We need all the help we can get. Parents, this is a great opportunity to get a head start on your volunteer hours! Stop by when you can, there's plenty of work to be done! The Knights of Columbus will be serving lunch around 11. We hope to see you there!

Prayer for Faith:
Dear Jesus, please increase my faith. I know that You are worthy of my trust. When I struggle to understand and believe, strengthen my faith in You and in Your Church. I trust You, Jesus, and so I say with the man in the Gospels, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.” Amen.

On this Memorial Day, we pray for all of our military members, especially those who died in service to others. May we honor them by loving and caring for all those they have left behind. Give them strength and strengthen our commitment to caring for those who mourn their loss. Amen.

Finding Nemo Jr. was fantastic! Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in this musical event. Start making your guesses for next year's school musical!

This morning we celebrated Our Lady by crowning her with flowers. The children processed around the school, sang Marian hymns, and placed bouquets at Mary's feet to honor our Blessed Mother.
