Happy 2023! A new year is a good time to assess your skin care products. Check your labels to make sure your cleansers, moisturizers, serums and sunscreens are still active and effective.
* Vitamin C serums are generally good for 12-18 months after opening
* Sunscreens are required by the FDA to be at their original strength for 3 years
* Moisturizers generally last for about a year, but check the label for the manufacturer's expiration date (see graphic)

Let's talk teenage boy eyebrows... This sweet guy came in and hated his big, full eyebrows and tried to hide them by wearing hats. I assured him we could clean them up without making them look shaped and over plucked. He was happy with the results. A wax, tweeze and trim did the job! We even worked around his skateboard crash scar 😄

Practice makes perfect! Fine tuning my dermaplane skills. Seeing the results is so rewarding. Dead skin and fuzz gone.
Dermaplaning is a form of exfolation that removes the dead layer of surface skin and as an added bonus, it gets rid of the fine, vellus facial hairs.
