As the political season approaches, it is our responsibility as Christians to navigate the challenges of remaining faithful in a time of deep cultural division with grace and scriptural wisdom. Join us as we rise to the challenge through Bible Study led by the Rev. Dr. Joy J. Moore, the Professor of Biblical Preaching at Luther Seminary. From making sandwiches for the unhoused to cleaning up Woodside and Valota Roads to breaking down some wooden structures, God's Work Our Hands was a success! Thank you to everyone who joined us for this important day of service in God's name!

Today is God's Work Our Hands Sunday! We will join ELCA churches around the country in service! We will begin with a short worship service and then picking up litter in our neighborhood, making sandwiches for the homeless, and writing cards to those in need.

How do we stand as faithful witnesses to the gospel, committed to truth and justice, without getting caught up in blind partisanship? Lord, on this Labor Day, we thank You for the blessing of work. We ask for strength to complete each day. We ask for rest when we are weary. We ask Your guidance for everyone seeking employment, and we ask that You be with those whose faces we might never see but who work tirelessly each day for the good of us all. Amen.
