Today we headed to Matthew 5:41 where kids will learn about what it means to go above and beyond. Easy? Not always, but it’s something that Jesus challenges us to do.
Bottom Line: Be kind. Sounds simple enough. But Jesus challenged us to be kinder than you have to be. To go the extra mile for someone, because when we do, we can show them how much God loves them.
This week in our Early Childhood classes we will learn about a corrupt tax collector named Zacchaeus. He climbs a tree to see Jesus. Jesus tells him to come down, and then goes to Zacchaeus’ house. Bottom line: Jesus loves everyone.
As we continue to learn about kindness, this week in our Elementary classes we read about Ruth’s kindness to Naomi and how it later changed her life!
This week in our Early Childhood classes, we learn that Jesus is a kind and loving friend to a woman when she is caught doing something wrong.
Bottom Line: Jesus Loves Everyone
Today, as we kicked off our month about kindness in our Elementary kids, we found in the book of Matthew the greatest of example of kindness: Jesus. Clicked the video to watch the story.
Today our early childhood class will be learning about Jesus healing a man who asks for help and all his boo-boos went away.
Bottom line: Jesus loves everyone.
