Bethlehem A.D.
Bethlehem A.D. is each year on December 21, 22, and 23 from 6-9:30pm and is FREE to the public. This event recreates the ancient village of Bethlehem on the night of the first Christmas. It’s an outdoor, interactive experience. In a 15 minute walk, visitors encounter the wisemen, Roman Centurions, Tax Collectors, a marketplace including potters and bakers, craftspeople, folk dancers, ‘Inn keepers’ and a menagerie of animals for petting! Everything culminates at the manger, which is surrounded by angels and music. Bethlehem A.D. is a one-of-a-kind Holiday experience creating a deep sense of "community" that unites people of diverse cultural, religious, and economic backgrounds. Golf carts are available for the physically challenged and shuttles run from the Kaiser Hospital Parking garage.
