We are so pleased that Avinger's Lumivascular technology was highlighted this year at The Amputation Prevention Symposium (AMP) by key opinion leaders in the fields of vascular intervention:
• Dr. Thomas Davis, an interventional cardiologist, and the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and Peripheral Interventions at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, featured Avinger's Pantheris SV (small vessel) OCT-guided atherectomy system in his sessions, "Late Breaking: OCT-Guided Atherectomy of Lesions BTK: Real-Time Imaging That Provides Real-World Data," and "New Insights on the Anatomy of BTK Lesions Based on Intravascular Imaging."
•Dr. Ian Cawich, a coronary, peripheral, and vascular interventionalist and limb salvage expert at Arkansas Heart in Little Rock, highlighted Avinger's proprietary OCT-guided atherectomy technologies in his session, "How to Use OCT Imaging in CLI: Tips and Tricks."
AMP focuses on education and technologies for treating critical limb ischemia, an advanced stage of PAD, in patients facing a life-altering amputation. The conference features lectures by internationally recognized faculty, live case symposia, hands-on workshops, and exhibits supporting the mission of amputation prevention.

This past year, we took pride in the fact that two respected thought leaders in interventional cardiology and endovascular interventions delivered speeches at the Leipzig Interventional Course (LINC) on Avinger's Lumivascular technology. LINC is a leading global forum for new methods and technology in the field of vascular medicine held each year in Leipzig, Germany.
• Dr. Arne Schwindt, a vascular surgeon at St. Franziskus Hospital in Münster, Germany and a pioneer in the OCT-guided treatment of vascular disease, featured Avinger's Pantheris OCT-guided atherectomy system and the results of the INSIGHT trial in his presentation, "Gender Differences in Treatment of ISR Lesions with the Pantheris Atherectomy Catheter." The INSIGHT trial was designed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Avinger's Pantheris image-guided atherectomy system for treating in-stent restenosis (ISR) in lower extremity arteries.
• Dr. Michael Lichtenberg, Chief Medical Officer and Director of the Angiology Department and Vascular Center at Klinikum Arnsberg, presented interim data from the post-market IMAGE-BTK trial designed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Avinger's Pantheris SV OCT-guided atherectomy system in treating below-the-knee lesions. His presentation was entitled, "Treatment of Stenotic Lesions Below-the-Knee with an OCT-Guided Atherectomy Catheter."
On behalf of everyone at Avinger, we send you heartfelt greetings for a delightful and memorable Holiday season! May this time bring you boundless joy, wonderful memories, and an abundance of laughter among family and friends. Happy Holidays!
This past year we were proud that two esteemed opinion leaders in the fields of interventional cardiology and endovascular interventions spoke at the New Cardiovascular Horizons Annual Conference in the following sessions on Avinger's Lumivascular technology:
▪️Dr. Ian Cawich, a distinguished interventional cardiologist hailing from Arkansas Heart in Little Rock, took center stage to shine a spotlight on Avinger's entire portfolio of proprietary OCT-guided atherectomy technologies. His session, aptly titled "OCT-Guided Atherectomy of ATK and BTK Lesions," illuminated the groundbreaking advancements made in this field.
▪️Dr. Jon George, Director of Complex Interventions and a renowned interventional cardiologist and endovascular medicine specialist at Pennsylvania Hospital within the University of Pennsylvania Health System, graced us with his expertise. He featured Avinger's Pantheris SV (small vessel) OCT-guided atherectomy system in his session, titled "Utility of the Pantheris Atherectomy Device with OCT Imaging in Treating BTK Lesions." Dr. George also shared the latest insights from the ongoing IMAGE-BTK clinical study, providing invaluable updates to our collective knowledge.

As we reflect on the year 2023, we proudly mark one of Avinger's standout accomplishments: the FDA's granting of 510(k) Clearance for Pantheris LV, an innovative image-guided atherectomy system designed to excel in the treatment of larger blood vessels.
Pantheris LV is designed for treatment in larger vessels, such as the SFA and popliteal arteries, where the majority of PAD procedures are performed today. Pantheris LV offers multiple new features and benefits to physician users, including higher cutter speeds for more efficient removal of challenging occlusive tissue and a proprietary design for plaque apposition to improve procedural efficiency. Pantheris LV incorporates several additional features to streamline and simplify user-operation, including design improvements for enhanced torque feedback, guidewire management, and improved tissue packing and removal.

One of our proudest accomplishments of the year was on June 5th, 2023 when we announced the successful completion of the first clinical cases with the new Tigereye ST image-guided CTO crossing system.
Tigereye ST incorporates design upgrades to the tip configuration and catheter shaft to increase crossing power and procedural success in challenging lesions, as well as design enhancements for ease of image interpretation during the procedure. Product specifications include a working length of 140 cm, 5 French sheath compatibility, and low crossing profile for treatment of lesions in the peripheral vessels both above and below the knee.
We're thrilled to share a standout moment of 2023: unveiling clinical findings from the INSIGHT study at the prestigious Charing Cross (CX) International Symposium in London, UK.
The CX Symposium, a premier event in vascular and endovascular education, is all about pushing boundaries in education, innovation, and evidence. The INSIGHT trial has been a pivotal journey, exploring the safety and efficacy of Avinger's Pantheris image-guided atherectomy system in tackling in-stent restenosis (ISR) in lower extremity arteries.
Looking back on 2023, we proudly celebrate one of Avinger's most significant accomplishments of the year: the successful attainment of 510(k) Clearance for our Tigereye ST Image-Guided CTO Crossing System. This milestone underscores our unwavering commitment to innovation and the advancement of medical solutions. We extend our gratitude to the dedicated team and all contributors who played a pivotal role in this success. Here's to a year filled with remarkable achievements and looking forward to continued excellence in the future!
