Half of our vendor tables have been claimed for our 2024 Fall makers fair! This is such a fun event for our young entrepreneurs to learn through hands on experience. We are hosting this event at one of our favorite locations, the Reno Elks lodge. Don't miss out on this amazing event!

Don't want to be a vendor but still want to support our awesome homeschool community, come on out and shop all of the unique items these kids hand make. Please invite your friends and family to come shop as well. This event has no entry fee and is open to the public!

Our "Fall Into the Season" Makers Fair is now open to registration! Come support our local little entrepreneurs. We currently have 60 tables available! Register at nnhs.org under our events tab.

Also save the date for annual Christmas party! This one is always so fun and one of our favorite traditions. Santa will be bringing Mrs. Clause, an elf and their very own photo booth! We will also have games, music, cookie decorating, cocoa bar and more!

Are you guys ready for some fun in the sun?! We here at NNHS can't wait for the annual homeschool Wild Island Waterpark day!! Bring the whole family on July 22nd to cool off and make lasting memories with friends. Check our link to register and get your tickets purchased. The NNHS board of directors loves this community and we all love what we do. We heard the requests from the homeschool community and excited to announce a makers and bakers fair for our little aspiring entrepreneurs!

For just $14 your child can rent a vendor booth and earn their own profit (YUP! They get to keep all their commission!)

This is the perfect learning opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs. Bring your friends and family. This event is open to the whole community and Free for supporters/shoppers to attend. The $14 is just if your child is setting up a booth to sell items.

There will be a raffle for all shoppers!

Hey Everyone and Happy Holidays Homeschoolers! We officially have our Christmas Party event up and ready for you to register! We will have Santa, Mrs. Claus and their elf Piper, professional pictures with Santa provided by Cowgirl Days Photography, games, crafts, food and a hot cocoa bar! Every ticket purchased to the party will be entered into our raffle for a grand prize!! Also, the first 50 guests will receive a bundle of free school supplies!!!

Today's law enforcement Raffle winners.

A successful law enforcement career day!!

We had Sparks and Reno Police, Fire Marshal, Sheriff and K-9, SWAT and Bomb Squad, FBI, Nevada Department of Wildlife, and US Marshal just to name a few who showed up for our youth today.

Thank you everyone who came out. I hope you all enjoyed yourself. It's was a pretty cool turn out! 🙌🏽

Hey y’all!
It saddens us to have to bring this up but it’s something important. We as a board absolutely LOVE what we do and don’t take our roles lightly with providing the best events for our homeschoolers.

We always want to leave our events better than we found it. And that means we need to have all hands on deck with helping watch over your own littles and those around you. To help be our eyes and ears as we host sometimes over 200-300 people at our events. To communicate and make sure we all have a clear understanding of the rules and expectations of the facility we use.

At our not back to school party the facility/area was NOT left the way we found it. Apparently somebody had brought water balloons and left the scraps all over, debris was thrown and left in the fountain, and chalk was drawn all over the concrete.

These events aren’t free and as a group of volunteers this puts us in a bind as we no longer get that event deposit back. The event cost us $180 pavilion, $225 special event fee, $200 deposit. Meaning we’re not out over $600

We ask from the bottom of our hearts that we please work together as the amazing community we know we can be to help watch your children and make sure they are respecting our area and if you bring anything to please clear it by us to make it sure it’s compliant.
