“Operation Chick-fil-A” provided our first responders with a (well-deserved) hot meal. These guys risk their lives for our families, homes, and communities - we are beyond grateful for their service.

At Think Kindness we work hard and we play hard. This team has been working tirelessly and today they get to go out on a Safari. 2.5 days seeing all that this beautiful country has to offer. Asante!

Today our team spent the day volunteering and doing some painting projects at Msandaka School for the Deaf. We were even visited by members of the ministry of education who thanked Think Kindness for our many years of supporting the school. Great job team!

A very very busy day here in Tanzanja for our volunteers. After a visit to the farm to cultivate some fresh veggies for lunch today we know have some meals to prep for the kids. And for some it’s also time to assist Amani with addressing envelopes for thank you letters bound to donors all over the world. We have a hard working team here in TZ!!!

Shout out today to our super volunteer Ian! Ian traveled to Tanzania with our team in March and has been there since. He comes home in a few days but he’s left a tremendous legacy at Amani. You rock Ian!!!

National Kindness Speech Contest We are seeking America's most inspirational students ages 5-18 to write, perform and record a 2-minute kindness speech to inspire the entire nation.

Today is a day we’ve been dreaming of for a long time. One of our travelers is a dentist from the states, and today he is teaming up with his fellow dentists in tanzania and we are going to see all the kids and do check ups. What a great day today!

Our 2024 spring trip is off and running. After arriving last night, our team today attended volunteer orientation, learned basic Swahili and now they are work in the art and computer rooms with the children. Great first day for sure!

We are sold out for Spring and Summer 2024. But we have lots of upcoming trips that you can be a part of. Reach out to us today and come spread kindness with us on a global scale.

RECRUITING 3 NEW BOARD MEMBERS:
We are looking to bring on 3 new Board Members for Think Kindness // Our board is small but mighty!

ROLES WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
1. Donor Engagement Chair
2. Corporate Partnership / Grants / Fundraising Chair
3. Local Event Planning (we have an epic idea in the works)
Our board will meet virtually once a month with in-person twice a year. This individual does not need to be local to Reno (besides Local event chair). We will plan on at least 2 in-person meetings per year.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS:
If you would like to not have as much responsibility, but would love to help out - this would be epic and awesome as well!

Big HUGE News! Thanks to our amazing donors we will be paying to convert the kitchen at Amani from wood burning to gas. This will make meals so much easier and save on firewood and reduce the amount of smoke the cooks have to breathe. Thanks to all for making this happen.
