From the bottom of our hearts, all of us at Renown Children's Hospital extend our deepest gratitude and admiration to Lauren Schmidt who diligently led and inspired her fellow students, BMCHS staff and parents throughout the 2023-2024 school year to meet this lofty goal. We are so proud of you!! Your “Why” will help support the pediatric programs and young patients at Renown Children’s Hospital.

Since that time, Renown Children’s Hospital has raised over $18 million which has allowed young patients and their families to receive vital care right here in our local community. Funds raised through CMNH have helped Renown Children’s Hospital obtain customized equipment that is essential to the treatment of every child’s size and age. Some of these items include baby Leo Beds for the NICU, Accuvein to detect the tiniest veins, Panda Warmers, renovations and expansions. The quality care provided at Renown Children’s Hospital also includes physical, mental and emotional health support, which are key to successful outcomes. Services like Child Life, and outdoor gardens play critical roles within the children’s hospital. These programs are completely dependent on philanthropy and are funded with CMNH proceeds.
