HISTORY:
I adopted my smallest dog in December 2018, Rocket, rescued from a hoarding house and due to the unsanitary conditions, he lost an eye. Rocket was unsocialized and scared of everything. Daily walks were already staple in my household with larger dogs, a

nd I did not want to leave Rocket behind. Rocket got to participate in walks and enjoy fresh outdoor air as a passenger in a sling. Once Rocket grew braver, he chose to start walking and now runs. I still wear a sling on every walk, weather permitting, usually carrying one of my foster pups who are usually ‘differently-abled’ or elderly. DESCRIPTION:
Rocket Slings are soft material carrying slings for small dogs and very mellow cats, and any other pet that might like a hammock-like sling. Your pup can stick their head out the side and front feet too. Each sling has a front pocket for cell phones, treats, keys or whatever fits.
*Note the pocket sizes are different on each sling. MATERIALS:
Most slings are made with one layer Fleece and second layer Jersey, Satin, Flannel, Linen or Cotton. Some slings are made with both layers Fleece for extra warmth in colder months. (*Note, double Fleece slings can be too hot in warm weather, for you and the pup)

DIMENSIONS & CARE:
Each sling measures approximately 29”-31” Long by 14”-16” Wide at its widest, near the bottom.
*No two slings are identical as they are handmade and can vary in size due to fabric thickness and cut.

*Slings are machine washable and safe for dryer. Anti-wrinkle modes will help it come out flat, but ironing may be necessary for the 100% cotton slings.
*Most smaller dogs under 15-16 lbs. will fit but not guaranteed. Use your best judgement and please consider the comfort of your dog!
*NOT recommended if you dog has any hind leg ailments, spinal issues, or otherwise needs firm support, a sling could cause pain for your dog in most carry positions. PRICING:

* No guarantees for special pattern/color requests. SHIPPING:
$8 flat shipping rate in the U.S for one sling, then $2 per additional sling in order.

*** For safety purposes, please never assume your dog is secure in your Rocket Sling without your assistance. Dogs can shift inside sling and can fall out either side if owner is not attentive.

*** Be cautious wearing sling with your dog inside it while operating a vehicle, air bag deployment will injure your dog.

***Consider the weather and temperature, you dog can overheat in the sling due to hot or humid weather and being pressed against your body. Your body heat will radiate to your pup so make sure you check on your pooch’s temperature while in the sling on warm days.

UPDATE: Sad news, prior to coming into the shelter, this dog had sustained severe injuries most likely from being hit by a car. Sadly, he did not make it. We thank the community for the outpouring of concern.

Happy Monday! Those ears!!! Truffle Shuffle is wondering why she hasn’t found her forever family yet! She is patiently waiting to be adopted! I love her so much! I’ve been fostering her since last April and she’s come a long way. She can be shy with new people and cowards so she just needs time to open up. I get to see her loving personality and goofy gremlin moments which are adorable. I always say her coat reminds me of cookies 🍪🤣. She’s good with other compatible dogs and doesn’t mind cats. She has the most soulful eyes. We don’t know what kind of past she had but most likely not the best! Bred and used up then dumped at the shelter. Please be committed when adopted a dog! Spay and neuter! Stop breeding and being part of the problem!

If you are a bulldog experienced home Truffle is available for adoption! Even if anyone can foster her until she gets adopted! We are located in Northern California. Home owners only with a fully fenced in yard. No small children.💞

Wishbone is looking for his family! Wishbone is a 12 weeks old large breed lab mix. Wishbone is smart and energetic. He will do best with a family who has another pup to pal around with and a backyard to play in. Wishbone loves to be with his people and listens really well and learns quick. Wishbone is high energy and requires mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. ADOPTED!! Kashi got his Christmas wish a bit early❤ Congratulations sweetie!!Kashi is dreaming of his forever home for Christmas. Kashi is an older boy, between 7/8 and is an interesting breed- pure Mutt ❤ He is about 45 pounds so on the medium side of life. Kashi is looking for a home with other dogs, and a patient mom/dad that will understand that he is a bit shy at first. Once he gets comfortable Kashi loves pets and TREATS!! Treats are his favorite (very food motivated) Kashi would do best with older kids as the smaller ones move very quickly and that makes him uncomfortable.
