NNLC would like to pay homage to five of its staff members who have been with the organization for 3+ years! Marian Chang (first photo) teaches English as a second language, family reading literacy, and a certified administrative assistant course. Rob Costa (second photo) is our Youth Programs Coordinator, and assists our youth students, preparing them to enter the workforce. Beth Lowery (third photo) is an English as a Second Language instructor, who also teaches our weekend citizenship preparation classes. Ian Flemming (fourth photo) is our Database assistant and proctor. Guadalupe Garcia is one of our math instructors, helping students prepare for the High School Equivalency exam and build their math skills. Thank you five for all that you have done, and continue to do for NNLC! Cheers to 3+ years!
‼️ATTENTION‼️ If you, or someone you know, are wanting to gain your US citizenship look not further🇺🇸🦅 NNLC offers two citizenship class sessions, with classes available on weekdays and weekends. Session 1 is held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the next start date being September 24. Session 2 will be held on Saturdays, the next start date being October 12. NNLC is excited to welcome Victoria Rios as our newest team member! Victoria has ample experience working with the Reno/Sparks community, and NNLC is proud to have her as the Director of Youth Programs. Victoria will be running the Learn and Earn, and YouthBuild programs, connecting high school dropout youths to education and training services, getting them into apprenticeship programs, and into the workforce

Nevada Reading Week: Embracing the Magic of Reading. March 4th through March 8th. Nevada Reading Week is a tradition for our state and our community for over 40 years. Please come join us for the Family Reading Program on Wednesday March 6th from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. NNLC is proud to host a series of Family Reading Sessions throughout the week. Please consider joining us at: Lincoln Park Elementary School on Tuesday March 8th at 3:30 pm, Sierra Nevada Academy on Thursday March 7th at 5:00 pm, or Towles Elementary School on Friday March 8th at 9:30 am.
