AllStar Boat Care was originally established In Cohasset Mass in 1990 servicing 25-35 boats every summer. Duties performed included outboard engine tune ups and repairs, bottom painting, and fiberglass restoration and detailing. Our Story

AllStar Boat Care was originally established by Rusty Starmer in Cohasset, MA in 1990 servicing 25-35 boats every summer performing outboard engine tune ups and repairs, bottom painting, fiberglass restoration, detailing and shrink wrapping for winter storage.

Rusty moved to the Tahoe Area in 1999, and established AllStar Boat Care in Lake Tahoe as a mobile service. He had one pick up truck and his dog Otis as an assistant. Now in business almost 20 years, our customer base has grown to over 400 returning customers, 4 work trucks and a 3 acre commercial property in West Reno with a shop and two warehouses so we can offer both indoor and outdoor storage.

Allstar’s main focus and the reason for its success is you! We strive to be your honest and reliable partner for any concerns related to your boat. Your needs are very important to us, so we listen and tailor our work to your wishes and needs. We will answer all your questions in detail and will make time for you. If we can’t do a particular job, we have the resources and contacts to steer you in the right direction.
