✨ Want your lash sets to look flawless and feel comfy for your clients? Here's a pro tip: graduate those inner corners down to single-digit lengths.

But why, you ask?

Shorter inner corners help round out the set, giving it a polished visual shape. Plus, they're less likely to tickle when your client opens and closes her eyes.

Bonus tip: For a seamless look, avoid skipping lengths. If your longest length is 13mm, also use 12, 11, 10, 9, and 8mm to create a smooth gradient. And don't forget to round off the outer corners if you're not going for a cat or kitten eye—this adds to the professional finish.

While there are times you might skip lengths, like for a dramatic cat eye, sticking to around 5 lengths for most sets will give you the best results.

Wet sets are one of the trendiest lash looks that have popped up lately, and they’re still going strong! One of the easiest ways to achieve a perfect wet set is with Wet Set ProMades; while similar to spikes, these fans actually have no adhesive at the base, letting you wrap them around the natural lash for strong retention. Here are our top tips for applying our Wet Set ProMades for the best results!

✨Use a diameter that is slightly thicker than your base layer of fans. This will help you get that bold, bright look that is so important in a wet set.
✨Pay attention to the placement of the ProMades, ensuring they are all facing the same direction. A wet set needs to have completely clean, cohesive placement to look professional and intentional.

One great way to improve your skills and be able to make whatever kind of fan you want at will, is to first master one before moving on to the next. For instance, learn to make wide fans first and be able to make them consistently, then start mastering the moderate or medium width fan. After you master that one and are able to make one or the other at will, then it’s time to learn the narrow fan. Voila! This is a great way to perfect anything in your lash or beauty life!

Instead of trying to master it all at once and getting overwhelmed, take it one step at a time. Have you ever heard the saying, “how do you eat an elephant?… one bite at a time” It means that overwhelming tasks become more manageable when you break it down into smaller more easily achievable bits.

Something to remember is even the most seasoned professionals sometimes feel like they’re brand new when they have to learn a new technique! We all have that in common! The trick is to be kind to yourself, be patient, and practice, practice, practice! Embrace these steps and watch yourself grow like never before!

No lash left behind... thats the rule, right? Or do you see an exception in this photo?

Because we definitely do! While we do encourage artists to get as much coverage as possible, the reality is natural lashes do not grow in a perfectly uniform way and in the exact places we want them to.

Occasionally a lash, or few, will be so high on the lash line that when an extension is applied, it can disrupt the set and look ""unfinished"" or even messy - like the one at the top of the lash line in this photo near the edge of the tape.

We recommend to avoid lashing these lashes to keep your sets looking clean and complete!

We wouldn’t have either! 😅 This client had very lifted and curly lashes just on the outer corner, and the rest of her lashes were very straight. Do you notice how her outer corner still looks really lifted even though we used a C curl there?

It’s always important to take a client’s natural lashes into consideration, and much more so when they have varying curls within their natural lashes. Below is a great guideline for how to choose a curl based on what will flatter the client, and their naturals, best:

💖For very lifted, curly natural lashes, opt for a C or even B curl if possible. These lashes will still give the appearance of a CC or even D curl on the lash line.
💖For neutral natural lashes that are growing straight out from the lid, opt for whatever curl you want. These will give a ture-to-curl appearance on the lash line.
💖For downturned or very downward growing lashes, opt for a CC, D, or a very lifted L or M curl. These will add lift, but still may only give the appearance of a C curl.
