Say hello to Engle, the newest Canine Companions facility dog at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth. Engle joined the team in October and spends her days visiting patients with a hospital consult order and in the infusion clinic, then she heads off to visit those in the ICU and in the day surgery waiting room. Engle brings comfort, calmness and motivation to patients, visitors, and staff. Many have said they felt like they were with an angel after visiting with her. ❤️🐾

At age 51, Diana is only the fifth patient at Baylor University Medical Center to receive a total artificial heart.

After experiencing heart failure, Diana was placed on the transplant list for a new heart. She was given a total artificial heart while waiting for a donor. Two months later, she received the news that a donor heart had been secured and had a successful heart transplant. Today, Diana is fully recovered and back doing the things she enjoys most. ❤️
