Food Inspector

We are looking for an attention-to-detail person to join our team as a Food Inspection Specialist to be responsible for the inspection process of different food products from beginning to end.
If you have previous experience working in a manufacturing environment and you are looking for full time employment and to make a career within an established company, this opportunity is for you!
Responsibilities:
Unstack and restack pallets brought to floor for inspection.
Remove and replace bagged product in cases as deemed necessary by manifest.
Watch x-ray screen, stopping line, and mark products where they show a foreign material on them.
Identify foreign materials on x-ray screen for each product being inspected.
Clean and sanitize line and working area in accordance with company policy.
Notify your lead or supervisor when deficiencies with either the product or the process are found.
Qualifications:
1 year of previous operations experience in a manufacturing environment
High school diploma or GED preferred
Full time availability for 2nd shift
Capable of staying focused on a task for long periods of time
Committed and responsible
10 open positions Night Shift 430pm to 1am.
Monday through Friday
Occasional OT needs on Saturday or
Possibly extending the shift from 8 to 10 during the week
